5 tips to detox your mind and soul

Do you often feel numb ? Maybe scrolling your news-feed is making you feel sad and bad. Well if not then good for you. But if yes, then don’t worry you are not alone. I have been there too. I know how it feels to be in such place. It is struggle which can be solved by detoxing your mind and soul.After reading various ways to de-stress and detox,  here is my list of tips that has helped me to detox my mind and soul

  • Just Breathe

Yes, sometimes just leave everything else and take deep breath. We often forget how important it is and relaxing too. Not only it helps in calming you down but also helps you in giving mind blank space it needs.

  • Take a walk in nature

I am not kidding, and without earphones. For once we should unplug earphones to tune in to listen what music nature has to offer you. You can simply walk on grass, take a swing, play with dogs or cats it can be anything. Do it and tell me you don’t love it, I bet !

  • Feed your self healthy

Well I am firm believer of “What you feed on, is what you feel” . So feed good food for healthy thinking. There are various studies which states the type of diet does affect the thoughts you think and you reaction you give. So eating healthy and right food does gives your mind peaceful serene thoughts. Take baby steps in changing you eating habits and you are good to go.

  • Have gratitude and pray

Even saying “Thank you” is one step towards gratitude.Show gratitude and mean it when you say it. Praying is another aspect of being thankful to God or Universe, whatever you believe in. Praying helps in showing gratitude towards what you have life. Take even single minute of day to Thank universe/ God. Personally, when I wake up I say “Good morning God and Thank you for giving me this day” and it gives my day amazing beginning.

  • Joy of giving and sharing

Whenever confused, puzzled, do some charity. Go to some  social event or even help someone while you can. It helps you become serene and calm about your own issues. It also gives you another perspective on how small you problems are  in front of other big issues  likes hunger, education, lack of water supply.
