✨Little Bit of Everything ✨
Unrequited Love

Unrequited Love

What is unrequited love ? you asked…

Giving a piece of your heart… I replied

And my mind said,”But still not getting, what you deserve…”

“Playing your best for him…” my heart uttered.

“Still not getting the tag of relationship, what you want” I replied

After all this time what might have I done wrong , I wondered.

“Still doing the same for him” heart replied.

Everything was fine, one fine day…

He stabbed with words, and it ripped my soul..

After all this he asked, what happened?

I said “Nothing” and moved on from him and everything.

I found my old self and the understanding of unrequited love.

  1. When we help someone who keeps making the same mistakes over and over again, we are clearly interfering in their lessons. What, then, are we serving? Most likely ourselves because we are then able to feel good that we are so long suffering and patient and self-sacrificing, because we can certainly see, from the evidence of our eyes, that the other person isn t making any progress by virtue of our efforts. And, it may be a far more difficult thing to deny assistance, to refuse association with them, particularly when it is someone we love, because it hurts us to see them hurt. Yet, that may be the very thing needed in order for them to grow to be left to their own suffering until they have had enough so that they will begin to see their own way out of the difficulty, thereby building soul strength and accessing their own powers and inner potentials.

  3. Of course every dater knows that we’ve all climbed mountains, are photographers and practice yoga. But you’ll find yourself cynically thinking how much you love these things. Is it a way of life or something you did once on a summer vacation. Okay so they profess their free-ness, but the reality is it’s just not enough if it’s not ingrained into their soul. Or maybe they’ll claim they’re everything they’re not and join you on your journey only to bail later when the going gets tough. Pick wisely nomadic friends, or you may find yourself stuck too. Let’s be real, talking about the weather is never going to set anyone’s soul on fire. Unless you’ve been stranded on a Fijian island due to an impending cyclone or perhaps you’re a storm-chaser. It’s not just weather, but small talk is a way of life for so many. ‘What’s your favourite food?’ is a typical getting to know you question. If they respond with pizza and dare to use the word Dominos and not because they experienced pizza heaven in Napoli’, then your heart may break a little.
